Description: Our client had recently moved into a new house near the River Hamble and wanted to convert the house into a larger, more modern dwelling. We produced these images to assist with the design process and to supplement their planning application.

Description: Wayfinding maps for Ampleforth College, North Yorkshire. Born Digital was originally commissioned to produce these maps in 2014. Because we back up all our projects, we were able to restore the original files from 8 years ago and refresh the maps with the most up-to-date site information.

Description: Description: The client, an engineer, was struggling to convey their staircase design to the client. This is a perfect example of where visualisations can aid with both the understanding and interpretation of a design and assist with the design process.

Description: This is another example of camera matching a building into the correct location over site photography. In this example, a set of panoramas were taken and the digital 3d model of the building was superimposed in the correct position to demonstrate the low impact of the proposed house on the existing context.

Description: One of Born Digital's areas of expertise is accurately camera matching or placing digital building models into site photography. For this commission, the client wanted to demonstrate how their proposed design will be almost invisible from a number of sensitive viewpoints around the site.

Description: As London’s infrastructure changes the Legible London maps need to be updated. Battersea has recently been redeveloped as one of London’s most exciting new shopping and leisure destinations. Ahead of the October 2022 reopening Born Digital updated the digital 3d model for TFL.

Description: The design of a building in an enclosed and sloping site such as this can be very difficult to convey with plans, sections and elevations and benefits greatly from a set of visualisations. This set of images also included an aerial view to help explain how the building fits within the surrounding area.

Description: A lovely development of a pair of 3 storey houses taking advantage of a sloping site. The images were displayed on hoardings around the site to illustrate how the houses would look before building started and to assist with off-plan sales.

Description: This was an extensive commission, for a planning application, that involved design and visualisation. The client came to Born Digital with sketch ideas. These were worked up into drawings and then computer generated models. Born Digital carried out site photography and created a set of photomontages.

Now that planning permission has been obtained the images were refined and adjusted so that the property can be marketed before building begins.
